About us

The Hundred School is a lifelong dream that represents our beliefs in early childhood education. We’re happy you're here.

Meet our teaching team!

GABI BIZARI (she/her) - Founder and school director: Gabi was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, and moved to the U.S. in 2016. She earned her Master's degree in Early Childhood: Inclusive Education and Curriculum & Instruction at PSU in 2019, and she has worked for 10 years in early childhood education as a teacher, researcher, coach and program coordinator. Gabi is also a part-time faculty at Portland State University and Southern Oregon University, and she holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition from the University of São Paulo. Outside of work, Gabi loves traveling, concerts, reading, and eating. She lives in SE with her husband and her sweet dog Zico.

KAELA DOLAN (she/her) - Lead Teacher: Kaela, originally from Wisconsin, has called Portland home for nearly nine years. Her journey in early childhood education began in 2015, and she has taught children ranging from ages 1 to 5. While she enjoys working with all age groups, Kaela has discovered her true passion lies with preschoolers. Her mission is to create a safe, joyful environment where children feel empowered to be their authentic selves and inspired to spread kindness and empathy wherever life takes them. When she’s not teaching, Kaela loves immersing herself in live music and expressing her creativity through abstract art collages. She also enjoys swimming, exploring nature, and cherishing time with family, friends, and her lovable orange tabby cat, Pickles.

KIMI GRIFFITH (she/her) - Lead Teacher: With over 25 years in early childhood education, I am deeply committed to supporting children in developing strong social-emotional skills, fostering their ability to understand and manage emotions, build meaningful relationships, and navigate the world with confidence and empathy. When I’m not working, you’ll find me diving into historical fiction, enjoying beach days with my family, or relaxing with a good movie or documentary.

MASON MIMI YADIRA (they/them) - Teacher: Mason has been working in the Early Childhood field since the Spring of 2015. Their teaching philosophies align with Reggio Emilia and Anti-Bias practices. Seeing children as whole and individual human beings is important to everyday interactions for them in fostering child-led learning and promoting caring independence. They have worked with a wide range of ages, infants up to seven year olds, but have most often worked with preschoolers. They hold a degree in Creative Writing with a minor in Child & Family Studies from Portland State University and graduated in 2019. They love writing, art, and creating in general, along with reading and spending time with their two black cats, Boo and Crow.

VANNA CERVANTES (she/her) - Teacher: I’ve been a teacher since 2015, working with kids of all ages—from infants to middle schoolers—and drawing from a variety of educational philosophies to meet each child where they are. My favorite thing about teaching is helping to foster a safe, fun, and creative space for children to thrive in. Outside of the classroom, you can usually find me on a hiking trail, at a concert, behind a camera, or exploring my newest hobby: sewing!
